Plant Propagation

Submerging this in monstera stem in water to propagate hoping it roots, will it work? Or does it need to be moss/soil?

  1. Oftentimes, I plant the arial roots in soil when they’re that small and have great success. There is a tendency to over-science propagation because we are concerned for the health and safety of the cuttings. These guys root really well in my experience. Let the cut area dry a few hours to overnight, but not too long. Then, it’s in a pot regular potting soil. Keep moist for a week or so and then let it dry out over the next 4-5 days to encourage the roots to seek for water.
