My friend gifted this to me, she has been planting cuttings from her Big Monster as we call it. I left it a month to recover from the chaotic drive home, doing grow light on the sunset sunrise schedule. It seems to be doing well, this is my first monstera. When I got it, she had this external root in a glass of water so I just kept it there. Now it's time to make some decisions but I don't know what to do, Should I get rid of the exposed root or can I break the plant up and do something? Any suggestions are appreciated.I need to have my plants all potted in two days!! You can see the smaller one in the clear glass, it's grown good roots in water but now the leaves are dying so that needs to be potted.
