Plant Propagation

New to this & trying to save a dying plant.

Do any of these roots look long enough to transfer to soil? Can I put these all in the same small pot or should they be different pots? I don’t want to ruin them as the big plant has mostly died and I’ve been trying to save what I can but have 0 experience or know how. Thank you!!

These are a pretty forgiving plant when it comes to propagating. You could likely plant in soil now ensuring you’re keeping the soil moist while the roots transition to being in soil. They are currently used to being fully saturated in water and will initially find soil quite drying.
I generally place these directly into soil versus rooting in water prior.
Planting them into the same pot will be the start of a much fuller plant. You could always divide them and repeat the propagation process with each plants single vine. Clip the vine and stick the end back down into the dirt. It will root and you will eventually end up with a plant with multiple growing vines.

I’ve never had luck with soil propagations but you can leave them in water for a lot longer than that and they will grow big strong roots too. And you can probably put at least five or six more cuttings in that glass
