Need advise on food for snails

Hi friends, I added two young pointed mud snails to my jarr about three weeks ago and now found a tiny ramshornsnail. They ate all the algae quick and I got the advice to feed them by someone in this sub with food tablets. I went to the petstore today and asked for advice. They gave me food tablets for catfish. Just now I discovered that they contain not just plants but also salmon and shrimp powder. Is this really suitable food for my snails? I wood feed carefully and only small amounts but I am worried about the water going bad due to the fish powder. Thanks in advance <3

Looks good to me. I put in algae wafers which is what I think this is. Snails are bottom feeders so they eat anything like left over fish food and fish corpses. This should be fine and they will eat algae off the glass and around the tank plus dead plants and biofilm. I recommend putting one wafer in every other day for now and as the tank gets algae growth every week or so would be fine.
