Help for a novice needed
I got a cut from a friend and I do not even know if it was cut the right way. It has been 2 weeks and I see a root growing but I do not know if it is right, it looks different from other images that I saw. I do not have much experience with plants so far but I really want this monstera to live. Can somebody give me an advice or just confirmation that this is going as intended? Much appreciated 🙂

You have a healthy looking root. Look like it’s doing what it should be
