Yes I like to water prop as well. So I can see what’s doing on. I did do a long snake start in water and it took like 6-8 weeks to see any roots. Just keep the end clean (not slimy) and in fresh water with good light. So maybe in a clear jar or I used a tall drinking glass.
You COULD also cut those all into 2-3 inch sections and prop them all. Just don’t lose track of which end is technically ‘down’
Also always make sure that the cut parts have time to dry and callus over. A couple days should be enough time.
