RHS Plant of the Year 2024:
Celebrating the exciting and diverse new plants launched this year.

The award celebrates new plants launched at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and helps to bring these wonderful introductions to UK gardeners. Information and images of plants submitted by exhibitors were considered by RHS Garden Curators and over 180 experts from RHS Plant Committees and Trials Forums, taking into account the breeding journey, innovative or improved characteristics and likely public appeal. Each committee member then cast one vote and these were collated to decide the winning, second and third placed plants. These and all the shortlisted plants can be seen on the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year display in the Great Pavilion and the winning exhibitor is presented with a trophy.

The winning plant and runners up are announced on Sunday 19 May.
