Welcome to our channel! We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (PNW)! We are in the middle of our journey to create a beautiful Japanese maple garden and develop bonsai trees for everyone to enjoy. Our garden is under construction but we hope to open it up to public in the near future! Follow us if you love Japanese maples and want to know what’s happening in our garden! In this channel, we focus on walking thru our Japanese maple bonsai garden throughout all seasons, discussing how to prune Japanese maples, how to air layer Japanese maples, how to propagate Japanese maples and how to take care of them including pruning, fertilizing, etc.

  1. Love your collection!!! I have a question for you: I have a Japanese maple that didn’t “shoot” last year, it only pushed out leaves. It’s in a bonsai pot with APL (Akadama, pumice, lava) and last year was the first time it didn’t shoot, so this year, I started fertilizing that tree earlier to see if that helps. Any ideas why it’s not pushing vigorous shoots?

  2. What should I use on my maple seedlings for insects? I am just curious what you used on your maple seedlings. But your trees are beautiful as always. Thanks

  3. Thanks for sharing your garden and especially the fantastic clump tree you acquired from Bjorn. It's interesting to see the slightly different characteristics that come through on what were originally different seedlings. I'm interested to see if it looks more uniform mid-summer & fall. Shouldn't be noticeable in winter silhouette, though, which I imagine is when it would be shown.

  4. Lovely tree. Great job keeping it in good form! I just did some spring work on my kabudachi 'Twombly's Red Sentinel' but it has many more years of development before it will look like this. Bravo!!🙏🪴🍁

  5. I have a important question,I’ve been air layering and successfully have 3,how long do you wait befor you turn it into bonsai

  6. That is one AMAZING Japanese maple clump!! I have a maple clump that I have been working on for a few years now and watching this is inspiring! I don’t expect my clump to end up as amazing as yours…….. but I have hopes! I had Andrew Robson of Rakuyo Bonsai look at it and give his opinion on it, I have also had Tony Fajarillo of PBSA look at it too!! It’s still many years away from being anything……. but both Andrew and Tony think it has a lot of potential.
