I have a Velvet Leaf Philodendron that started dropping leaves. I had to re-pot it badly anyway, so I got the plant in a much healthier pot with some room and more appropriate soil. I took some cuttings from some of the long vines and stuck them in water. This was many weeks ago and although the vines have new growth, I'm not seeing any roots developing. I'm changing the water every couple of days (it needs to be changed now.) I read that they propagate easily. Am I doing something wrong?
