at the end of the season before you put your tools away for the winter in the shed it’s best to give them a really good clean and then once they’re dry a bit of coating of oil now you can use lots of different oil from cooking oil uh if you got very Posh tools you can use olive oil no it doesn’t matter what oil you use you just give a brushing over the surface to create a seal that protects your tools so when it comes to the winter time and you’re putting your tools away oil them up
