How to prop this? (What is it?)

When I bought this, it had really long roots coming out the bottom of the container, so I repotted but my pot was too big and the roots rotted 🙁 I snipped what was mush and this is whats left. How do I prop this? I don't know what it is, and it doesn't seem to have nodes that I can trim around and stick in water. It's very floppy and sad, but I'm hoping I can save part of it 🤞
