Did you say “Kelloggs Breakfast Tomatoes?” 🤨 Also, how exactly do we make them a one stem plant? Just pinch the rest of them off, even if they already have flowers?
HELP!! 🙏🙏🙏 We have what feels like a plaque of grasshoppers. Our garden is being destroyed 😭😭😭. HELP HELP PLEASE
A moment of silence for the batch of sunflowers eaten in half by a family of bunnies 😭
Wife took a t-post driver to the cranium driving some posts. She has me do it each time now. 😂
Grew a Triple L Climbing Crop tomato on our trellis and it got 10 foot, didn't prune it all. The potato leafs on the bottom were bigger than my hand. Huge tomatoes.
T posts & duct tape are a Must on our property ! So so many uses 😂😂👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Lol, risk of a concussion . My grandson got a knot on his head. I angle the post then take it up straight. The tool is definitely heavy, but it does a great job. Another great tool is the tpost puller.
I hope i eventually get tomatoes🧐 I have a 7 year old grandson that keeps showing up with green tomatoes in his hands, telling me they fell off the plants🤦♀️😂😂😂🤷🏼♀️
How do you feel about putting mulch down when the weather gets hotter?
If you go to a ranch store you can buy 8 foot t-post. The ranchers use them to keep the deer from jumping them.
Hi, what I do is grow my tomatoes on 2 or 3 stems with so many stakes. They grow to 5 or 6 feet high and love it.
I used a panel last year for cherry it worked out well
To extend T-posts take a 2 inch PVC Schedule 40 that is 1 foot longer than the amount of height you want to extend. Drill a bolt hole at the 1 foot level. Put a bolt with nut in the bolt hole. Slide the 1 foot section on top of the T-post and you can have a strong reusable post extender to whatever height you want.
I got 10’ T Posts and have a piece of pipe across the top of two with pvc T’s. Then, I run a piece of nylon cord down from the pipe to the ground with a bamboo stake. As the tomato plant grows, you wind the string around. Works great
I grew Supersweet 100s up a cattle panel arch…just let it go wild. It only made it to the top, and didn't go over, , but was so prolific and pretty! ❤
I've been using t-post for years for my tomatoes. Once they're in there they're in, they are in there for many, many years. Happy Gardening 😊
Love your show and tried ordering trifecta yesterday from ontario canada. Sadly i couldnt afford the shipping. Any suggestions to cost effectively ship to southern ontario? Thank you
I used to single stem my indeterminate tomatoes with more plants in the row. Then a couple years ago I put in 6 plants a row instead of 10. I started out with a single stem unit the 1st set of tomatoes then i strung up more sucker stems per plant and wow I got so many more tomatoes without any sacrifice to size or flavor. I have 7 strings on a couple plants already this year. My trellis is 7.5' feet otherwise I'd need a ladder. Once they get a foot or so above the trellis i just cut off the tops. I used to use taller trellises but with more stems growing i dont need to go any higher up on a ladder.
I grew small cherry tomatoes on my cattle panel arch last summer and they went nuts. It was like picking grapes. There were so many hanging off the trellis!🍇🍅🍇🍅
You could get a taller stake by sliding a piece of PVC pipe over the post. Or attach it along side the post.
I bet you could add some length to those t-posts. Wood strips or rebar tied on with tie-wire or bailing wire.
