I’ve always heard that rubber plants prop better in soil with rooting hormone. Never tried it myself but that’s what I’ve read. And that’s a really healthy shoot.

I have propped many ficus varieties including this in just a jar of water in a sunny spot. They take a few months sometimes , you can stick a pothos cutting in to make it go faster optionally
