hello everyone today I am going to show you an area we’ve been working on it’s a flower garden area that we started several years ago and when we started it we were doing it on a pretty tight budget um some things were you know given to us some things we bought on clearance and I I’m doing some uh weed eating in here today I had to stop cuz the battery died and I’ve got to put a new battery in uh as soon as I get a charge so we have worked on this because this was an area that was very hard to mow because it was at a really awkward angle and kind of even sloped inward a little bit in places so when we did mow it it just got kind of it caused more of a mud slide and um you know we could have done with a push mower every time but that was going to be a lot because there’s just a lot of other places that need push mode too so we made the decision to turn this into a garden area and as you can see some of our butterfly friends like to come and visit so we’ve been turning this into a garden area one to eliminate Mowing and this is going to become part of a larger um Garden which we’re calling the prayer garden and it is going to be a place for people to come and just hang out and pray and spend time with God we’ve also got another area that we we we are going to connect up to this um we’re working on now I’m not going to show that today but that’s all going to become one area we’re going to have you know a little area that people can just sit down and whether they want to do Bible study or pray or whatever they want to do in this area they can do that so we also have a rental at the front of our property in the past we have rented it as a month to month but we have decided to turn that into more of an Airbnb vacation type area where people can just come as more of a retreat they can do some fishing and our big pond we’ve got a pond that’s um used to be part of an old what they call strip pit or Quarry so it’s about 50 ft deep from what we’ve been told but it’s roughly 2 to 3 acres in size and so people can do things like fish and then you know come enjoy the prayer Garden um and we’ll have some other things we’ll you know have added to that in the future um we want to actually do more events here we want to work on a cowboy camp for kids and we’ve got an area um out way over there where we want to put a little outdoor chapel and have events here that people can come to and you know spend time with God so that’s something that we’re working towards and this is a section of it that I wanted to show everybody today to kind of show what we’re doing here um how we’re progressing here um there Calles our Calles I brought from our old house back in Pennsylvania so that I’ve had them for going on 13 years cuz I had them for about a year out there and we’ve been here almost 12 years so I’ve had those for a little while um you know we’ve had some things that people have given to us some things we bought on clearance some things that were seed sewn that have grown um we’ve planted some bushes and thing and trees in honor of major life events like we do have off in the distance over there um you can just barely see it right there um whoops sorry wrong one that one right there is one of our saucer magn as that’s the tree we planted in honor of adopting our daughter um we have some that we planted when we had family members or close friends that have passed on and that’s something we’ve talked about offering in the future that if somebody wants to um you know donate something to plant a tree or a bush in honor of an event in their life we can do that so we’ve talked about doing stuff like that to um also help get this uh PR Garden finished out but that’s kind of what’s going on here right now um this is going to be kind of a short video I just wanted to show people kind of what we’re doing here and tell everyone to have a blessed day um and we will see you again bye
