do you know that potatoes produce a fruit a few months ago I planted out this huge Potato Patch and it’s been growing well I even have little potatoes but then my plants started producing flowers and those flowers produce potato berries which kind of look like unrip tomatoes tomato potato so what are these potato berries have seeds inside and you can use those seeds to grow more potatoes but I wouldn’t do it if I were you because the genetics of a potato plant are really complicated planting out new spuds from these berries would not guarantee I get the same variety and I wouldn’t eat these either because they are mildly toxic so when you see these berries you can just remove them from the plant which will allow your potato plants to devote more energy to producing spuds
