Plant Propagation

Newbie with medium/advanced plants

Ignore the plant ID card in the first photo, I just haven’t taken it out. I want to propagate it.. but I never have and I’m new to the whole thing. I tried to look up photos but I have yet to find a picture of where to cut and what to do?

The 2nd photo is a Croton that I want to scrap and start over with propagation. Just again, unsure how.

The 3rd photo is the cutting I took from the monstera I have had for ~9 months. My monstera plant has not had any fenestrated leaves yet, but my sister said that my plant (which was propagated from hers) had another plant (2) from the same ball of roots and that’s why I hadn’t had a new leaf in a while because it was using all the energy to support 2 plants. So I cut it but I’m not sure I took the right amount? I can’t fit it into my tiny Walmart propagation station so I have it in a clear coffee cup. Does it look right? It callused for 24 hours before I put it in room temp water.

Help meeeeeee
