Plant Propagation

Will this propagation work?

I dipped the end in rooting hormone and I also misted the perlite a tiny bit. Please help this is my only aglaonema cutting of this kind and I don't want to lose it

No sorry I’m actually an aglaonema cutting and me personally I wouldn’t propagate in that but hey that’s just me

Some plants prefer to be in soil to propagate, but the soil needs to be soaked. I used vermiculite and kept it moist.

    I had 3 cuttings.

The one in vermiculite rooted after a month, then one in water took a month and a half, and the one in water, without nodes (I notched the stem and added rooting hormone) lasted a month and a half, produced new leaves but no roots. I moved into vermiculite and got a root after a week. The vermiculite was very muddy and constantly saturated.
