how did i do? can i add isopods?

first terrarium. substrate is potting mix, perlite, charcoal, orchid bark, topped with dried sphag moss. plants include some from my collection (japanese beech fern baby, tradescantia cuttings), and from the woods behind my house (native mosses, unknown trailing plant).

should i wait to add isopods/springtails? or add them now + some dead organic matter? thanks!

You can add springtails right now.

How big is it? For isopods it will most likely need a “dry” and a “moist/wet” area. It depends a bit on what kind of isopod you want. Can you do that in there? It’s also recommend to wait a few weeks for isopods. Isopods need food. Did you mix leaf litter into the soil?

Ask in r/isopods for info from experienced people. 🙂
