I just found this New Jersey Tea growing naturally along a slope on my property!!!!

This comes at an amazing time because I was just complaining to my wife about how all the volunteer flowers I find are invasive or non native, and that maybe all our efforts are for not. But this fully restores my faith that native plants can thrive when given some help against the invasives! You can see here that while there are a few native sassafras emerging, im still fighting back oriental bittersweet, multiflora Rosa, vinca and others.
