Got water roots.. now what

😭 I successfully saved this previously dying succulent in some water but now what? Do I just keep it in water ?

How to transfer back to soil?
Check out how pretty my nails are? An the blushing pink on the succulent 🙂‍↕️
Did I do something wrong ? The roots are a brown now. Not mushy, but brown

Personally for a succulent I would have negated water and just stuck it in some dirt. But now you have water roots, so stick it in some dirt and keep the dirt fairly moist for a little while, just while it transitions to being in a dryer substrate. You can then start to water as normal once it had acclimated to the dirt.

Yeah I prefer to root in just soil or low organic media. Personally, I would just pot this boy up and out in a sunny location without watering for a week or so.
