Grafting Plants

9/9 grafts doing fine.

they’re really all looking decent. this time all I did was a slice and a little rubbing action between the scion and stock, took it out of light for the first 2 days and under this tuppaware the whole time besides to check once. I watered the pere heavy before. I just chose 9 from a lot of seedlings I’m growing. been honing the art of the seedling graft and have been getting great rates. What I did differently this time was taking them all the way out of light for those 2 days. Under the lights, some would shrivel up fast without making the union. I plan to do more and more seedling grafts because it’s extremely rewarding to see them balloon from nothing.

anyways, this is mostly a journal log now but I always love seeing what the community is doing and learning from the seasoned guys!
