What is the green stuff at the bottom of this Peperomia leaf? (New leaves, duh. But are they really? 😅)

So sorry, way too specific of a question ahead. 😬

The leaf has been chilling in the wet clay bits and seems quite happy. 2, 3 weeks ago we checked it and it was starting to make babies. …or so we thought. Thing is the new growth hasn’t changed since then.

So should we get it out of the water and pre-pot it? (That’s what we call temporary tiny pots with airy substrate that we “water” daily/twice daily. Meaning we drip 3-5 drops of water around the leaf prop.) Or could this halt growth altogether?
