I wouldn’t, you don’t have much plant there. Tell your mom to go buy one. They’re inexpensive.

Agree with the other comment, there isn’t much to the plant for propping. IF you do decide to chop it, I wouldn’t take any more than just the first 2 nodes. You won’t have much left of the plant after that, but it will eventually grow out
