I have a few trees growing very close together and need to decide what to keep. The pine looks like it's in rough shape, so I am considering cutting it down and letting the walnuts grow. But I didn't want to it down if there's a chance that it could recover if I removed the walnuts.
Could anyone weigh in on what is the best choice? Thanks!

Not a pine, Blue Spruce. And i’ve read that they don’t typically do well outside their native range.
Personally I would choose the walnut. Unless you really don’t like cleaning up the walnuts of course. But in my area (southern ontario) blue spruces are dime a dozen
