[Applause] now you’re probably wondering why I have these bags in my hand but I’m going to give you a good tip on how to harvest these Tomatoes when this heat gets good you’re going to get the Sun scoil and then as these start to ripen on the bush birds are going to come in and start pecking at them once they start turning red take this one and this is what we call blushing seven Tomatoes here as these Tomatoes start to ripen they give off like a ethylene gas and that’s a hormone that’s produced as it goes through the ripening stages we’re just going to add them to the paper bag and we’re going to fold that up now these were put in a week ago 6424 voila and that color is going to come in even deeper when you put these in this bag that ethylene gas is trapped in there and it triggers the harmone in the fruit this how you get a beautiful tomato

I've never had birds mess with my tomatoes.
Thank you great information 👍🙏🌺
I just did the technique I learned from you today. Trying it on my first Cherokee purple and some bush Goliath Tomatoes. Can't wait to see how good it's gonna be, thks agin
Awesome
Bag em to ripen faster, put a fan on them to store longer. 👌
That does work. Also if you want to keep mushrooms if you buy them at bulk in a produce store, put them in a brown paper bag…. . unwashed and store them in the fridge . . They will last a good while. Also you can place green tomatoes in a brown paper bag at the end of the season and they will ripen. I don't have a garden anymore, but I still grow tomatoes in large planters.I just love watching them grow.
We have had a tremendous heat wave the last several days up in the 90 °and 100°.almost lost them.
I have had a collapsible hose and several days ago it sprung a small leak and today it blew up shortly after I turned it on. I got soaked and couldn't believe that that just happened. I was standing there in shock and looked around to see if any of my neighbors were out… But forgetting they have ring doorbells.
That is a nice sturdy tomato cage. Great to hear this tip on harvesting early (before the birds get them!) Thank you
Beautiful and luscious !!❤
Yum !
Wow, perfect tomato 🍅
Yep 🇯🇲, true for other fruits too like avocado, mango, etc ❤
Thank you sir!
Excellent
Thanks get a man that gardens and works inside and out
I had no idea! I would be in the garden daily snagging up my hard work before the lovely birds "helped" me out.. thanks for sharing!!! 🫶🏾🌻
NOW,THAT WAS EXCELLENT INFORMATION, THANKS😅
I grow tomatos in the garden, black tomatos, and I was puzzling on when to pick em, thank you. Just in time.
Nice work! Surprisingly where I’m at I’ve never had birds desire tomatoes
I just want to add that in Canada we can pick the green tomatoes of the vine before first frost and store them in paper bags till Christmas at least. Cherry tomatoes store even better and longer. Taste is without compare!
What pot is that???
I will try this
God bless
👏👏👏👏. I took notes
Where do you put the closed bag with the tomatoes?
Garden Pa, do you leave the bag putside? Thank you
Thanks 😊👍
Thanks
