Grafting Plants

Which Is better to micrograft on?

Thick stalk with no leaves, or younger stalk with leaves? This will be my first time.

A B or C. The leaves help the graft grow faster and the newer growth on the pere tends to lend itself towards grafts better

    Edit:spelling

Probably B. Seedling grafts slow down considerably with out leaves.

I would practice by cutting off the nice leafy sections and grafting to the stumps. Then, once the tips are rooted and fatten a bit try again. Use your decent babies for practice and the nice ones once you’re comfortable

I mean, you are going to be cutting all of the leaves off of any of them. Best to just use these as mothers

Are those from propagation or just letting it grow?
