Would like to add a raised bed made of stone to the front of bungalow to soften how it just sits on a concrete bath. Found this example online, ideally the beds would be about 50cm high so we have lots of depth for planting like in this example and don't have the driveway space to build them out and leave a gap. Has anyone does before? How did you prevent damp coming into your house? Would just painting a tanking paint on our house walls be enough to prevent damp?
