This plastic bag says it’s compostable and underneath says 2029. What does that mean and can I add it to my compost bin and it’ll decompose in 2029? Sorry I’ve never added anything plastic before and sceptical.
Do not add compostable plastic to your home bin. It’s meant for commercial facilities. Unless your bin gets very hot it will take forever to break down
