I had to make a difficult decision and cut my schefflera due to scales ☹️

I only identified the scale as scale recently, it’s been infested for years 🥲
Tried washing it meticulously several times, to no avail. Today I decided to let it go. It was growing so beautifully too, so I hope it comes back. Rubbed the remaining stems with alcohol. Please cross fingers for it’s future!
