I think you should buy it for me.

I mean, you get what you pay for. But if I had a huge yard and not huge money, I’d buy it in a heartbeat

Personally, I wouldn’t buy a mower from Walmart, especially a ZT

For $1k that’s a solid value, just keep that in mind in 7 years from now.

I vote yes. It’s a budget MTD machine, so not great, but worth the price in this case. What is the engine?

Service every part of it once or twice a season depending on use.

Change all of the oils after a few hours of use.

    Grease every fitting

It will last you for more then $1000 of use.

Buy it. Wait a month until it’s not in the stores anymore, sell on fb marketplace for $1500. Everybody gets a deal.

lots of parts around… Machinery Tool and Die Company

If you have around an acre or less, it should be okay for what you’re doing

It’d probably rust the deck out before it quits.

If it is zero turn, does that mean it only goes straight??

FWIW swing by Home Depot. You might be able to catch a Ryobi riding mower for $900. They’re clearing out all the floor models right now.

Assuming the majority of online reviews aren’t saying it’s basically dog shite I’d buy it. As long as you don’t put it under any great stress with long grass or constant use and you maintain it properly it should last a few years.

Honestly with all the deck height settings as well it’s pretty set

If you need a ZT for a larger yard this will pay for itself in 1-2 years vs hiring somebody. I’d buy it. Could just be a floor model or scratch/dent

I bet itll do just fine for 3 years and thats solid for the price.

It’s a good deal, ignore the brand name – look at the engine. Briggs and Kawa are the gold standard

A new Honda would cost you over a grand.

Anyone else score the Ryobi riding lawnmower for $799 (originally $4,999)?

It’s a great deal for $1,000. Not a good deal at all for $2,794.
