After having a decent DWC setup previously, I finally got some time to rebuild (now that my kids are a little older and I have time again). Lots of custom designed 3D printed parts (because I'm a nerd lime that). Frame is built with 1" electrical counduit.
I have some just sprouted jalapenos in there now and some tomato plants that will be going in the other side.

Ever use those under the water line? Thats pretty cool. Im guessing that maybe the printer plastic isnt ideal for a bulkhead application, but this makes me want to buy a printer
I don’t know how old the kids are but I know no one’s too old to appreciate a “smiley” face, myself included.
It’s surprisingly challenging to find a sturdy and food-safe, large tote where I live, but one day I’ll produce one of those systems myself. Happy growing!
P.S. if you plan to include pH and EC probes, do pass them through holes on the left. They would be the moustache.
Very cool. I would suggest covering those tote lids with a light blocker.
