Left my plant baby in hot car

My brain wasn’t working today and I left a monstera clipping my sister gave me in my car…in water on a hot day for a couple hours in direct light. The roots look strong and the base is green but clearly the leaves and most of stem are dead. Should I cut them down? Is this whole thing a goner? HELP.

I would definitely cut the black part off! It will heal fine just give it a good window and clean water every few days!

Just cut it down to the green and get yourself some fox farms boomerang. I bet it’ll be fine

It’s going to be a long road with this one. The dead leaves don’t mean it’s the end. If you trim them back the plant can possibly put out a new shoot and eventually produce a new leaf.
