Birthday Bloom

Hi. I posted in this group over a year ago about inheriting 2 of my grandmothers AV’s after she passed in April 2023. I was concerned about them cause they weren’t in the best shape and the plants were both coiled at the base. I got amazing tips and given instructions on care and how to “decapitate” them. I was too scared to do that and have since propagated lots of leaves but the original violets never bloomed. Well about a week ago I noticed a few buds! This morning one had pretty much fully opened…which is even more special because it’s my birthday and I feel like this is a little wink from my grandmother 🥹
