Tall meadow rue grows wild on my property and late June is its peak flowering time. It’s not a flashy plant, but still gorgeous in its own way.
That’s black walnut–not tree of heaven–in the background!
By the way, I’ve tried uploading a full album of today’s flowers (and soon to be flowers) but when I use new reddit to upload images they come out stretched… anyone know how to prevent this?)

cool. i planted the more midwestern thalictrum dasycarpum. a lot of reading suggests it not a great insect support plant, but well see. i like the look.
