  1. Thoughts on planting two rows of sunflowers along the fence line with the “container challenge” pots…? Nice backdrop to mask “the dead lands” lol

  2. Do your kids want to get in the pond to cool off or would they prefer to go to your parents pool ?

  3. Why would Bethany want a cat that sprays?? 🙀It’s a putrid smell as I remember as a kid, having a male cat…😼

  4. Just once! Cook artichokes for your kids. My grandkids had so much fun dipping in butter and sliding through their teeth. 😂🤷‍♀️

  5. Beans: very susceptible to herbicide in compost…especially grazon. Depending on the composition of the compost you use, certain elements may have been exposed (especially hay/straw and horse manure).

  6. Sorry to hear about Chedder I don’t blame you for getting tired of him spraying his territory and giving him away to a good family. I bet the Russell is happy.

  7. My daughter bought me the Vigo hose real Christmas last year and I agree. It's a little rougher, but costwise. There was no way we could afford a h*** Like so for people that are pinching pennies. It was a really good investment for me. Also I know you don't get June bugs and Japanese Beatles, but it would be great if you could do some research. Or maybe Aaron could do some research and help us poor folks who's plant get eaten alive by them.

  8. Regarding the brown lawn behind the row of large containers, consider a nice, deep grass strip behind the fence so there is always a green backdrop behind the containers. Much like the wide grass paths you have running through other parts of the garden. Less to water, big impact.

  9. 🤣😂🤣 Like many years ago, when planted the pink super vista (i believe) at the base of the stair. I forgot which door. Plus you said they swelled badly.

  10. Two specific things I loved about this video. 1 that when you are asked a direct question about if you like a product you give your honest feedback and don’t just say it’s great to sell it and make money off the sale. 2 that you guys are considerate enough to do a whole separate channel about the items you sell so that we are not flooded with ads but have a place to get more info and questions answered. I really appreciate how genuine you are and know that whenever I hear a product recommendation it’s because you really believe in the product and want to make our gardening experience better. I wish you guys all the success you have honestly earned. ❤

  11. Don't fret or apologize about the brown field! Most of us (in the US, at least) have brown at this time of the year, if we don't irrigate!

  12. My garlic was 1 full month ahead of normal. My crop was the largest cloves ever. I'm in Eastern Oklahoma. Great recap! Found I have to store my Biotone in a metal trash can, critters love it.

  13. I like the competition but the award the trophy.I thought was a new version of Gardens answers cutting board coming out l o l it still would make a good one

  14. I have MD, it’s hereditary plus I spent years playing golf without a hat or sunglasses. Now at 83 I get injections in both eyes every 5 weeks, have lost center vision in one eye and fear the day I lose it in the other. Wearing sunglasses and a hat is cheap insurance.

  15. Awe, I love Cheddar's happy ending story ❤
I saw the comments about getting rid of him as well, and while I don't think Aaron and Laura are the type to overly coddle the cats I couldn't picture them doing away with him. I hope he's loving Bethany's place!

  16. At the 28:45 mark, I'd like to mention that when I had a pond on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada, the iris were vigorous – so much so that it was very difficult to keep them in check once they established. Some of the roots were as big around as my wrist and were rooted into the rocks that covered the pond liner. I had to use a tree saw in some cases to remove them. I'm happy to see that you've left yours in the pots and hope that alleviates any issues with their roots spreading uncontrollably! Love your videos and even though I am no longer living in a space where I can garden, and my body no longer allows me to do it, I still watch you faithfully and pass along your wisdom to family and friends who still garden. Please know your expertise is valued and your videos are wonderful!

  17. 44:17 that’s how I got comfrey in my landscape! I planted it in a pot and it grew out the drain hole and rooted in! We were checking it yearly, but it still got out! 😮

  18. Have you thought about trying the Shibumi shade cover over your pond? They are extremely popular on the beaches because of how they are made to handle the wind.

  19. I would like to know , where is I can get the same award for my husband 😂. Thanks
Love watching your video guys !

  20. It doesn't look that bad, least it's all mowed and not alot of tall weeds 🙂 (land behind large drive pots)
