I have a lot of calatheas, but my ornata is a little shit, ngl. The best tip I could offer is to be _very_ careful not to over-water her. Mine was accidentally over-watered while I was in vacation, and it’s taken a long time for her to recover.
I check the substrate to determine when to water my calatheas. When the top inch or so is dry, they get a good, thorough soak.

Distilled or rain water only, chunky soil, they can tolerate quite a bit of sun as well- I have over 20 varieties of calathea, but honestly I struggle with this one!
