Long time lurker, first time caller. Southern Indiana. Planning a garden bed along the side of my house. 3rd pic is first draft of a design my landscaper sent me. I like short bushes but not sure if we should do taller shrubs to help hide the lack of windows near the front of the house? Looking forward to your recommendations!

You should add some vines to grow up the side! I think your mockup is lovely but it could be elevated by some vines in the back 🙂
