My plant was attacked and a lot of branches were broken. One wasn’t and I’m wondering if I should trim it so it’s not unbalanced or if that will cause more issues.. will my plant survive.

Is it a callistemon? It’ll be fine if so.
Leave it. You can prune it later as it grows. Keeping as many leaves as possible now will ensure growth is rapid.
