Hi all – I have 0 experience with Lemon Lime Dracaenas and noticed these dark marks with a yellow halo on my Dracena a couple of days ago. It’s a new plant my partner gifted me back in May and I decided to bottom water it for the first time a couple days ago while putting it under a UV light.
Before it’s most recent watering, my plant care routine was:
☀️ The dracaena received indirect light, about 7 feet away from a south-facing window
💧 It’s last watering was a couple weeks ago, but it was TOP-watering
💦 Humidity is relatively low in my studio apartment (not sure of the exact percentage)
Not sure if the UV light was too harsh or if the pot I bottom watered it out of should’ve been cleaned more thoroughly, but I’ve been down this “diagnosis rabbit hole” for my plant and I want out 😭
I’m open to any suggestions/advice on how to deal with this and thank you in advance! 💚
