Why are some of the hydrangea flowers green?

We have this pink hydrangea on our balcony, but as you can see on the bottom right hand side of the photo some of the flowers are a less vibrant pink and in places are green. Does anyone know why this is or what can be done to rectify it? It’s not the end of the world if it can’t be changed as a result of our lack of space. We only bought it a few months ago and had never bought any flowers or plants before so our gardening knowledge is poor! We unfortunately don’t have a garden so have to make do with the space and sunlight we get on our balcony.

Thankyou in advance!

  1. Just part of the normal flowring process for hydrangeas. The flowers will fade over time and lose some of their colour.
