Hi all, Alocasia’s have quickly become a favorite of mine! Unfortunately, the other day the plant was knocked over and this beauty broke off the rest of the plant. Can it be re-potted, or do I just enjoy it while it lasts? I’ve just had it sitting in water for the past week, and it’s still vibrant, so I thought it may still have a chance? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Sorry about your leaf breaking off, but no alocasia can’t propagate this way unfortunately
No, it doesn’t have a node so no roots will grow.
Never gonna grow, but keeping it in water may help it stay alive longer to appreciate 🙂
It will just rot. You can preserve the leaf if you prefer.
