I only had this one leaf (which has had the dried out parts cut from it; hence itβs shape) to start from when I found the just about dead plant. I let it callous, used rooting hormone and planted it. I since have this baby leaf. Itβs now July 2nd; I planted this April. Is it typically slow progress? Do you think itβs doing well? Any advice? Please and thank you!

I would say just stick to it! A new growth is a good sign regardless of how long it took.
I have my begonias under a cheap grow light from Amazon with a humidifier nearby and they seem to be very happy in that setup and are consistently sprouting out new growth.
