I bought them two weeks ago at succulents & cacti exhibition. They started to show wrinkles, but it's summer, so they should be dormant. I did not give them any water and I'm generally confused about lithops care during dormant period. I've read through this sub and seen many videos, but I'm still scared of them dying.

Probably not.
I’m not an expert, but when asking whether one should water lithops, the answer is almost always no. Lol.
They only need to be watered like twice a year, and it’s not good to water when dormant.
I gave mine a tiny sip about a week after re potting, and that turned out fine, but I was very nervous about accidentally killing them.
Always err on the side of caution ime.
