Is this type of cardboard suitable for sheet mulching? (Glossy but easy to tear)
I wanted to use this cardboard to kill a patch of lawn using the sheet mulching method. Can anyone confirm if this type is compostable? (After removing the tape of course)
I don’t know for sure but I’ve always avoided the glossy printed cardboard. At the very least, it’s got various pigments in it that may have heavy metals in them. I’m also suspicious that the gloss is some kind of plastic polymer.
