I made a bold move last fall and attempted a single leaf + node propagation that grew a massive root ball but had zero growth for over 6 months. I had completely given up on it and stopped watering it as consistently because I was fully expecting it to just be a zombie leaf. Just this morning though, my plant sitter just texted me this picture while I’m on vacation 🥲
Moral of the story: crazy how plants can thrive off of neglect sometimes
