Greenhouses

Complete overhaul of my greenhouse, can you tell the plants are happy in there?

This season we did a lot of upgrades on the greenhouse. Our budget was limited so we had to diy everything from prepping the ground to laying pavers to laying ducts for electrical, wiring, adding an evaporative cooler and finally, building a big humidifier. It only came together a couple of weeks ago, but I've been taking care of different details since. I can tell that the plants are liking it, my hydroponic veggies are growing like crazy and our succulents are blooming. I'd say the humidifier was a game changer. Here in Colorado, we don't have a lot of humidity in the air and I figured a lot of the damage from the sun was due to lack of humidity. The humidifier is set to 75-80% but it fails to keep up when the evaporative cooler kicks in. Temps peak at 88-90 max on a hot sunny day (85 most days). I wish there was a way to keep it cooler but I'm out of ideas as to what can be done. The plants seem to be okay with that though. I'm happy to hear any suggestion to improve our space. Thanks.

That’s a lot of humidity for those succulents. They like it though?

  2. Ooh, hi there OP. Uh, could you point me in the direction of your hydroponics build?! I was just discussing such a thing with my spouse and have had great success with my Aerogarden. Next step is to either build a setup or buy a kit. Is yours all DIY or did you start with a kit?
