Plant Propagation

Advice please :)

I’ve never successfully propagated anything before and wanted to chop my rubber tree to promote branching so I have a bunch of cuttings that have been sitting in water for some weeks now, as well as these jade props and I’m wondering what to do next…

For the rubber tree— are these ready for soil? I worry about root rot if I keep them in water for longer than I should. I change the water weekly but I’ve lost past attempts at props of various plants from what I think was leaving them too long… if they are ready to move to soil are there any recommendations as to how to position them, pot size, multiples in one pot, soil mix for propagation transplants… the ones in the vase not quite ready yet.

And for the jade leaves… should I just let them chill? I mist occasionally but haven’t “watered them”.. the host leaves(?) idk if that’s what you call it 😝, are a little soft and wrinkly and I don’t want to lose them but I’m clueless as what to do next and I’ve googled but I could use a little advice!

The pothos cuttings have been in the same water as the rubber tree cuttings— can pothos hang out in water for extended amounts of time? As long as the water is changed occasionally?

Thanks 😊

Sincerely Yours,
A Newb
