Had this cutting in water since early May, roots were looking like an underwater tree from all the branching! Two main roots must have been at least 8” with secondary roots over the entire length.
I placed it in an empty pot and sprinkled dry soil mix to make sure all roots are situated nicely, gave it a 30 min soak in plain water, now it sits where it was in a decorative pot looking very pretty 😁💚
A little back story is that I took this cutting from a cafe and it’s my first propagation. While it might not be the best marble queen cutting, I’ll try to bring out the best out of it!
I’ll be keeping soil very moist over the next couple weeks and going dryer gradually. If you have any tips for a better chance of success, I’m all ears.
