Poor guy has had a tough life. Worth trying to salvage, or dig it out and start a new one that will have better shape?
From a branch falling on it, to me learning hard lessons about over pruning, this poor guy has been through the wringer, shaping is not great and seems to get worse every year. Thoughts??
I don’t think you can OVER prune one of these. You could even do a full reset and cut it a couple inches above the ground. Obviously, it will take a little while to regrow this tall, though.
