First time tending to a plant. Why is this happening?

I bought this plant about 8 months back. I don't think it has grown even a bit but it looked green and healthy. A month back, this leaf started to get slightly yellow. I thought it was because I wasn't watering it enough ( like twice a month) so I started watering it a bit more.
I moved it from indoors to outdoors thinking it was because of lack of sunlight too but the yellowing doesn't stop :(.

Am I doing something wrong? Please help!

I’d bet on too much water. Snake plants don’t want to be wet. That leaf is a goner, go ahead and cut it off. I’d repot the whole thing, and make sure you use soil with good drainage. Then only water it when it’s dry all the way. Add water till it comes out the bottom, and if you use a catch pot, make sure there’s no water in it after.

Outdoors might be good, depending on where you are. While they are often pushed as “low light” plants, they are much happier in good light.
